Treasure Hunt Thursday #49 & Highlights

Welcome to THT #49! I can not believe next week will be #50! Thank you to all who come to party every week. As requested I have finally updated all my buttons and added the html codes! I know I know, it took me awhile but I promised I was gonna get it all figured out and I did. So grab ya a THT button off of my sidebar so everybody can see where ya party and come too!
This week I decided to feature 4 of ya lovely ladies.

Kori over at Red Hen Home made this adorable rain boot wreath! Very original and I just love it!

Michelle over at A Pinch of Prim makes the most amazing little characters. Not sure what you would call them other than true pieces of art.

Shirley over at Hospitality Designs added some sparkle to her spring table setting! You must head over and see her magical butterflies!

And I could not resist featuring Tina's Easter table setting over at Around The House. My boys saw it and loved it and asked me why I do not decorate for the Easter Bunny like I do Santa.

As always thank you to all who partied last week! I am so truly honored to have such talent partying at my place! If you were featured please feel free to grab the "I've Been Featured" button!:) I have the newly updated button with html code on my sidebar!  Though I was unable to leave a comment on every persons blog please know that I did stop by and visit!! I appreciate everybody taking the time to come over every week! What would be a HUGE help and encourage more comments not just from me but others as well would be for everybody to take off their required verification codes for leaving a comment. This seems to take just a few seconds of time but when you have to do it on 30 or more blogs it takes up a TON of time.

Now on to this weeks party!
As with all parties there are the normal rules. You must link back to From My Front Porch To Yours in your THT POST. Just common courtesy. If ya don't link back ya don't get to party. Only link up to your Treasure Hunt Thursday post and NOT your blog homepage. Please No advertising and PLEASE NO MORE than 3 links from the SAME party goer. If you find your post deleted it is not because I am a meany, I just have to make sure the rules are being followed. You can save some of your posts for the following weeks party! Please only link up new posts and not posts that you linked up the week before. Also be sure to visit at least the link before you and after you to just say Hi! It makes partying all the more fun! If you are new around here I would love it if ya become a follower!:)

Spring Mantle

I finally finished up the last few touches of my spring decorating.

I found this dried wreath at HomeGoods last week. I just loved the colors and thought it would be perfect for my mantle display.

I pulled out a few speckled eggs from my stash back when I use to do an Easter tree.

A pair of foil bunnies and now I have a simple Easter/Spring mantle.

I brought the large lantern back in and just adorned it with some left over greenery from my bunny and bowl project.

Out came my larger than life chocolate bunny. I purchased him four years ago at Cracker Barrel.

After Easter I can quickly convert it into just a spring display.

Thanx for stopping by and happy first day of spring!

Spring Dining Room

The dinning room spring decor all started with this bunny centerpiece I made over the weekend. If you missed that post you can see it here.

I pulled the topiaries from the fireplace. They needed some height though so I placed them in coffee cups.

Here is the full table display. I really like how it all came together though I REALLY need to purchase or make a nice burlap runner.

Next up I did a little tweaking of the buffet.

I had to make a home for my new little cow creamer from Target.

I finally decided to make the little picture frame into a mini chalk board.

A rabbit throw that I purchased from HomeGoods a few years back lays on the vintage side chair.

The opposite side of the room. Nothing much changes here but the display in the bird cage.

I like collecting odds and ends plates and cups when I go to HomeGoods. I was able to make a pedestal with a few of them here.

The welcoming view from our foyer.

The view from the hallway to the kitchen. I love how the sun light shines into the dining room. That is why I won't put any type of shade or shutter up. One day I may put up a half shutter but that would be way down the road when I am done with all the other things on my wish list. I just love how bright and airy this room is!

Mom says thanx for touring our spring dining room! She continuously made me get down from the table during the photo shoot but in the end I won out. I think I could make it on to the next issue of GQ Kitty!;)
