A Calling...

I just stumbled upon a story about a local family who are needing many many prayers and donations. Please take a moment to stop by their Facebook Page and read about Katy Hayes and the difficult journey she is on. If you do not have a FaceBook account you can read her story here. You can also go here and watch a clip from the news. This could have been any of us mothers and there are no answers as to why this has happened to this beautiful mother of three.

I do not normally call upon my blog friends in such a manner but I felt the need, the calling to try and get The Hayes Family story out to more than just the Houston area. Please find it in your hearts to at the very least pray for this family! If you have even $5 to spare please donate to help support this family in their time of need. They have no medical insurance. From what I read this evening this mother has had to have both legs amputated above her knees and both arms above the elbow. I can not even imagine what this family is going thru.

Please please pray for them! Please take a moment and just stop what you are doing and realize how very very blessed we are as mothers to be healthy and well and to have our children there driving us crazy! Go and hug those babies as tight as you can!

Sorry I have not been around lately! I decided to take it easy and focus more on family time instead of blog time. Been working on a few new projects though that I hope to get posted soon. For now this is what we worked on today.....

Today was his first attempt at no trainers and an hour and half later he was a pro!! Just need to work on self start.

We are soo very proud of Oldest! I am also amazed that The Hubster and I were able to teach him!! It was a lot easier than I had expected.
