I will be honest I could have had this makeover completed earlier if I had just not dragged my feet. We thought that we were going to have issues with moving the washer and dryer down the wall. Our dryer was beyond a pain to hook up when we moved in and it took us hours to finally get it connected. We were so sure that we were going to have to disconnect it to move it so I avoided tackling this makeover something fierce. Well with the fridge sitting in the spot where our Christmas tree goes I knew I needed to just get the task over with so I could deck the halls come time. Turns out the dryer was a breeze to move with no issues at all! It is not often that things turn out way easier than expected when doing home improvements so it was a very welcomed surprise! </span></div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUY0de17h3Q2O6XPSKn3CwWUDQqQofanTCF4bIy-UgE54nfZAEROpBKnmlMXxNx62U44qAzSNvRxsYCwIbYYOdRkqxNWa5XBRBHGU-lRRqpIdWJHuzVPfR7DTbjePO8HzAaSYe9rIjFWw/s1017/alaundryroommakeover20201-15.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Farmhouse Cottage Style Laundry Room Makeover-Peel & Stick Wallpaper-From My Front Porch To Yours" border="0" data-original-height="1017" data-original-width="828" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUY0de17h3Q2O6XPSKn3CwWUDQqQofanTCF4bIy-UgE54nfZAEROpBKnmlMXxNx62U44qAzSNvRxsYCwIbYYOdRkqxNWa5XBRBHGU-lRRqpIdWJHuzVPfR7DTbjePO8HzAaSYe9rIjFWw/w522-h640/alaundryroommakeover20201-15.jpg" title="Farmhouse- Cottage -Style- Laundry- Room- Makeover-Peel & Stick-Wallpaper-Black & White-Toile-From My Front Porch To Yours" width="522"></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Here is a peek at the space with the new Peel & Stick faux tin wallpaper on the ceiling. I do not normally decorate for Halloween per say. Thru out the years I will add a little touch of it here and there but never anything large scale. Not that I do not find plenty of cute Halloween decorations. I do! The problem is that with Halloween decor Christmas decor always comes out in stores as well and honestly Christmas decorations win out every time!!:) I have though grabbed a few things here and there over time. I always enjoy fall and the holidays! As I was sitting and pondering what to come up with for fall decorating I realized I never finished sharing our lemon themed summer dining room so before I start taking it apart I made sure to take pics to share with y'all. I will also be doing a LIVE tour over on Instagram sometime this week so be sure to stop on by over there for a different view of the space. I will also be sharing where I found some of my decor.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt="French Farmhouse-Dining Room-From My Front Porch To Yours" border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1550" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCHx71Fe9KKj70UZmZ-Moh6zJB_-aYH-VelG3c-Hv47VaCASlbXL__L9prX-56AjW_u8ziKNAoA3l4XMYKKI-6z_diEAaZSfybpKLbBV1CgfW5AAz0P3O5KFIJgQzDDRHqlm9wkCMgnuE/w484-h640/ablueandwhitefrenchcountrydiningroomDSC03738.jpg" title="Blue-White-French- Farmhouse-Dining- Room-Lemon-Decor-Hydrangeas-Vintage-Style-Cottage-From My Front Porch To Yours" width="484"></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidu_p95xHJ7p074AvpED_B3nwkje4NVkxTPntsOeij4AsyNxH7Q4ZI1MPxQLpQIV2tk0CJESecP8SHHi_A0mzN0wMojRa21d4UXWI3LJ5EHgAbhcSInQRmGjV9LhZMZHIYPAFl71GOYlw/s2048/afrenchfarmhousesummerdiningroomblueandwhitelemonsDSC03798.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Blue & White French Farmhouse-Dining Room-From My Front Porch To Yours" border="0" data-original-height="1386" data-original-width="2048" height="433" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidu_p95xHJ7p074AvpED_B3nwkje4NVkxTPntsOeij4AsyNxH7Q4ZI1MPxQLpQIV2tk0CJESecP8SHHi_A0mzN0wMojRa21d4UXWI3LJ5EHgAbhcSInQRmGjV9LhZMZHIYPAFl71GOYlw/w640-h433/afrenchfarmhousesummerdiningroomblueandwhitelemonsDSC03798.jpg" title="Blue-White-French -Farmhouse-Cottage-Style-Dining- Room-Lemon-Decor-Hydrangeas-Buffalo-Check-From My Front Porch To Yours" width="640"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span></span></div><a href="https://www.frommyfrontporchtoyours.com/2020/09/a-french-farmhouse-late-summer-dining.html#more">Continue on to Read More...</a>Pamelahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18283260830637529760noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5594728572456250670.post-25391953750947978622020-07-19T17:00:00.000-05:002020-07-19T18:07:42.683-05:00DIY Blue & White Hydrangea Floral Arrangement<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"> I am always asked how I get our Christmas trees to stand up in alternative containers. Ever since we stopped buying real trees and swapped over to faux I have come up with creative stands. Each one was created a bit differently. Some were successful and well lets say one year Mr. Front Porch and I watched in horror while the tree started to topple over. It was a good thing we were there and I was able to catch it. After that year our skills have advanced and we have never had an issue again. <i><b><span style="color: #990000;">So if you try your hand at creating an alternative stand just be sure that it is sturdy enough to hold the tree up to prevent any accidents! Probably best not to try if you have small children or pets unless you are 100% sure your stand is sturdy!</span></b></i></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Have any of you started to put your Christmas decor away yet? Sometimes I start the day after and sometimes I wait till mid January. This year I started putting away a few things here and there. The first thing I did was to take apart one of the trees. </span></div>
