Our patio makeover is slowly coming along. As with a lot of my makeovers they always involve smaller makeovers. The first was the round curbside dining table.
Though it was/is hot as all get out I managed to get the table painted. |
I took it back out in the yard and rubbed some stain over it. |
I think it looks much better now. |
Still pistachio but not neon pistachio. |
Turned out great!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out so cute. I love the colors you chose too. Happy Weekend.

ReplyDeleteLooks really great ! Love the two tone ! I have been looking for that chicken !!!!! Just like the one you have ! Whee did you get it ? Thanks ,Cindy
Thanks Cindy. I find it hard to play with just one color. The chicken and her chicks I found at a concrete yard decor shop called Fraziers on the way to Round Top Texas. She is super heavy!
DeleteWell done, Pamela! I'm redoing my patio and front porch and I love your creativeness. Can I steal ideas?!!
ReplyDeleteJane
Thanks Jane! You know I do not mind creativity my friend. Hope it is cooler where you are than it is here. Today it is suppose to be 102.
DeleteLove your blog and ideas!
ReplyDeleteI have a question: did you treat the Ikea table in any way to leave it outdoors? Love the look, but my Alabama humidity would cause mildew, I'm afraid.
Thanks Joanne. No I have never treated it. I like my wood pieces outside to look aged by the elements. It actually would get wet at our last house. Here at the new house we have a much larger outdoor space so it never risks getting rained on. None of my pieces out on the back porch or front porch have gotten mildew on them except for a picture that was made from particle board and got very damp from when Harvey came thru. I was surprised nothing else mildewed after that but everything else was good to go.
DeleteI love that shade of green. Very nice table.
ReplyDeleteThank you much Thel!
