Farmhouse Lighting-Our Suburban Farmhouse

As soon as we signed on the dotted line to build our dream suburban farmhouse...thinking of a name for it because every farmhouse needs a name :)...I started shopping around for lighting. The builder had upgraded selections to choose from but nothing that sparked my interest plus I knew I could find lighting at better prices.
Porcelain- Industrial-Farmhouse-Pendant-lights

These porcelain pendant lights will go above our kitchen sink peninsula. I had to order three sets of them because they come as a pair with one black finish and the other a blue finish. I have not decided yet which finish I will use. If you like them watch Antique Farmhouse.

I fell head over heels for this beauty! It is going to go in our laundry room. This one I purchased from Antique Farmhouse as well.

This chandelier I purchased for our breakfast nook but it may end up in our dining room. It came from Joss & Main. Of course after I purchased it I read terrible reviews for it on another site. Crossing my fingers it turns out ok.

Chippy Wood Chandelier- Farmhouse Lighting
This one was purchased for above our master tub but I think it may be too small so it will probably go in our mudroom/coat closet. Decor Steals carries it from time to time.

This light I scored off of Ebay for just $30! It may go in our breakfast nook or above our kitchen island. The gold shiny shades will be taken off.

So as you can tell from my lighting choices I am going with a more traditional/industrial farmhouse look. I tell ya though it is hard to resist all the beautiful lighting with bling on it! I may end up with some bling in our master bath.

  3. Beautiful choices! Lighting is the hardest part when you're building and it's the part the we went way over budget on our last house. I just can't wait to see how this turns out because I know you've dreamed of it for a long time.
