My mom came to town a few weeks back and we left the men folk at home and enjoyed a day of shopping. I decided to take her to a store we had never been to before. My friend Brenda told me about it a few years back. I fell in love with it when we went there but since it is all the way across town I do not go back often. 

Decor Steals Design Ingenuity Event- Vintage Farmhouse Wire Baskets

A few weeks back I was asked if I wanted to participate in a fun event that Decor Steals was putting together called Design Ingenuity where they team up a few bloggers and  send them a mystery item and the bloggers have to come up with a way to use the item in their home. You all know how much I love Decor Steals so I was totally on board. I mean who does not like receiving goodies in the mail!?:)

Thank you for joining me for an early edition of Treasure Hunt Thursday! I was hoping to get it up by 6 am but we have been a little under the weather around here this week. Happy April! I can hardly believe that we are already to April. So far this week I have shared two farmhouse model home tours. They were filled with wonderful inspiration.

Farmhouse Model Home Tour- Part 2

Yesterday I shared the first of two Texas Farmhouses that Mr. Front Porch and I toured recently. Today I am going to share with you all the larger farmhouse.

***Update- I have received a ton of emails about who the builder is of the farmhouses. I was going to add their contact info and the website for everyone but after finding that the website is no longer up I contacted the builder and sadly they are no longer offering the farmhouses in their line up and have since closed the model homes in Round Top.***

Mr. Front Porch and I have been tossing around the idea of building a home for almost two years now. After visiting many a model home in many different communities we finally decided what we really would love to do is to buy an acre or two of land and build us a farmhouse. After doing some research we found a builder who has some model homes up in Round Top, Texas so my three men and I hopped in the car for a Sunday drive.  

Is this not the most darling farmhouse ever!? I love the tin roof! If you follow along with me you probably know by now I love the color green as well.
