Antiquing in Georgia

Busy completing the holiday decorating around here. Spent 6 hours outside yesterday and can finally say that our porch is done! Now to the inside today. On Friday I shared some of our Christmas Village and a sneak peek at the dining room.
Since I am still busy decking the halls I thought that I would share a few pics from my many antiquing adventures back at home in Georgia when we went for Thanksgiving.

  2. After reading this post, the only thing I could think was "I want to go shopping with you!" Love the different prints on that little couch. I'm thinking of recovering an old wing chair and I think I will try to copy that look, just not in yellow. That particular shade of yellow did make me think I should reconsider my dislike of yellow though, if only briefly. Thanks for taking us with you on your shopping trips.

  5. The COW paintings...LUV!! And the sheep head. I've resigned myself to the fact being a shepherd of real sheep is now over but I don't have to like it. I hope someone guesses what you saw 'cause I don't have subscription t.v. and haven't a clue.
    Merry Christmas!

  8. Hi Pamela,

Ohh, you've found some major treasures!! Love the sheep's head, Swedish grandfather clocks, and of course that wonderful dress form. Wish I could transport myself from New England to Atlanta right now, but of course, that would be trouble brewing ;)

Looking forward to seeing what you come home with!

    Merry Christmas to you!
