Beaching on the Gulf Coast

Last week we spent time on the Florida Panhandle. It is something we have done almost every summer for the past 10 years. Last year we staid at home because we put in the pool so this year we were longing to hear the surf and feel the sand between our toes.

Using Wax to Age wood

I have been in love with this giant wood pillar base for years now. Several of my friends have one and every time I saw theirs I coveted it. This one belongs to my pal Brenda. After deciding I could not hold out any longer I went on the hunt to find one of my own to no avail. It then dawned on me to ask my friend Robyn who I order my Annie Sloan paint from. She has a home decor shop in Tampa Florida- Robyn Story Designs. I lucked up. She carried them in her shop and was more than happy to ship one out to me.
