Starting A Gallery Wall

Source
I have always wanted to create a gallery wall in our home.

Source
I wanted a wall that was a collection of not just pictures but a variety of things like this one by Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality.

Melissa at DaiseyMaeBelle always comes up with wonderful gallery walls as well.

I decided that a gallery wall was just what this blank wall in our living room needed so I started pulling together things that I have been collecting.

I won this vintage mirror at an auction back in the spring and was just waiting for the right place to hang it.

My mom bought me this vintage frame when she was out here in March.

I love how old and chippy it looks and even the wood backboard has character.

The boys and I went treasure hunting not too long ago and I broke down and joined the antler club.

So far I am really loving how the wall is turning out and can not wait to find more treasures to add to it.

See ya back here tomorrow at 4 p.m. for Treasure Hunt Thursday.

  13. I think that is the great thing about a gallery wall, Pamela. You can add to it over time and use things that mean something to you. I did two in our place, one of just black and white pictures and the other with letters and other things. My daughter wants to do one now mixing in both so we will probably start on that soon.

  15. Looks great! you've got a good eye, which is half the skill you need. Luck in finding good "stuff" is the other half!
