French Farmhouse Living Room Reveal

French Farmhouse Living Room-French Country-From My Front Porch To Yours
As promised I am ready to do a reveal. No, not the kitchen but I promise it is coming very soon. Today I am going to show y'all our living room transformation. If you follow me on FaceBook you know what a time I had taking pictures of the space. I had over 400 pics downloaded and the computer ate every last one of them and erased them from my camera so I had to hurry and take pics all over again before I lost my light. I guess that is how it goes in the life of a blogger!;)

This is what our living room transformed into over the last four years. We started with builder grade everything to include carpet. The walls were the first thing I changed after we moved in. They were Sherwin Williams Whole Wheat. It is a lovely color but it made the space very dark and I was ready to lighten and brighten.

My mama bought me this lovely lady for my birthday back in the spring. FaceBook followers have seen her transformed from a mustard yellow to a lady of royalty. Her crown is made from a paper cupcake holder!:)

  2. Lovely, I love how you angled the couch in the "after" I decorate that way as well if I have to use a wall in a room for a couch I will angle the area rug to add interest to the room. You did a fabulous job.

  28. When I read the problem about the "eaten photographs" I knew I had to post this even before I looked at your photographs...I have two "Click-free" backup external devices. They are very easy to operate. One was given to me by my daughter and the other one I purchased from QVC. Each one was about $99.00 ... that is cheap comfort for peace of mind about everything on your puter. I have two so if one fails...the other one will still have the same backup...now to return to viewing your photos. Warmly, Mary (The Old Elf)

  29. A wonderful transformation. I especially love the new layout...instead of nearly everything against the walls. This new layout makes your living room more interesting...drawing the eye "here and there". You are very creative.

Dropping in via Savvy Southern Style. I absolutely love your living room transformation. My heart melted when I saw your lovely Santos, she is just so beautiful. I love everything but especially the way you have hung your sheers. I can't wait to see your smocked burlap curtain panels with them. I have those in my living room as well and think they were one of my wisest home decor purchases ever!
