How To Make An Easy Holiday Centerpiece

I have been busy decking the halls around here. Last night I was able to finish the dining room. I always have a hard time thinking of a centerpiece for the dining room table and after pondering it for a day or two last night it just came to me.
I had this beautiful angel that was in the guest room.
Next I pulled out an urn from HomeGoods I purchased a while back.
I grabbed some florist foam from my stash.
Next I started clipping some fresh greenery I had purchased at the local nursery.
I situated two small pieces of foam into the urn and then just start pushing the greenery into it all the way around. It was as simple as that and took about ten minutes.
This is the end result!
While I was working on the centerpiece I decided to go ahead and update the pots on some faux cypress trees I purchased when we were in Ga over Thanksgiving.
I just dry brushed some Vintage White onto the pots to get rid of the plastic green color.
Then I just took some jute and wrapped it around the pot a few times.

If you want to see more of our holiday dining room be sure to stop back by this evening!:)

NOTE: You can now see our dining room here.
Don't forget next Saturday is my 2nd annual Holiday Mantle Party!
Off to work on my mantle.
Hope your weekend is going well!:)

Treasure Hunt Thursday 83

Welcome to THT 83! First I want to apologize that I do not have any highlights prepared from THT 82. I have been super super busy. I did though make sure to post the top three most viewed yesterday so be sure to check those out if you have not seen them yet.
This is what I have been up to. Let me tell you this looks good compared to what it actually looks like now!;) I have stuff everywhere and there seems no end in sight. I was actually having a hard time being overwhelmed and getting in the spirit but after walking around the local nursery today picking out  some fresh greenery we looked at the trees too. That put me in the  mood for sure so now I am full steam ahead. I can't wait to get us a tree up!! That is always one of my most favorite parts!
Anyways, thank you so very much for coming to party at my place! I promise next week things will be back to normal and I will have most viewed and my personal top picks! Now lets get this part started!

Treasure Hunt Thursday Most Viewed

Hey everybody! I know I have been away the last week and I apologize. I hope that everybody had a safe and enjoyable holiday. We went to Georgia for Thanksgiving to be with our extended families. It was a nice trip but long. 16 hours in the car with a puppy was not that bad though thankfully.
Right now I am sure that everybody is in full decorating mode. I pulled all of our decorations out yesterday and am having to replace all the strings of lights which is no fun but its been three or more years so it is to be expected. I can't wait to see what everybody has come up with this year.
Now on to most viewed links from the last Treasure Hunt Thursday!
Sarah over at Alderberry Hill holds the top spot with her homemade snowballs! I sure wish it would snow here. It was 85 yesterday!:(
Next up is Karin over at Art is Beauty  transformed a dresser to this awesome piece.
Third place goes to Ashley over at Cherished Bliss with her tutorial on how to make these adorable mini pompom trees!
Thanx to everybody for always coming out to party. Be sure to come back by tomorrow for THT 83!
