Delusional Perhaps

Today I rented one of these and was going to have The Hubster drive it.
Instead I decided to give it a whirl.
The boys joined in on the fun!:)
We picked up this Thomasville dresser that also has its mirror.
It also came the two side tables. I don't believe they have their original knobs so I will be switching those out probably for some clear crystal ones.
Aren't these doors just dreamy!?
The doors go to this frenchy armoire! We had to take the doors off or we never wood have gotten it out of the truck! This furniture is solid wood and HEAVY!! I mean super unbelievable HEAVY! I swear I sweated off 100 pounds today. Well at least in my dreames I did!;) Oh and the yellow on the side of the armoire is a reflection from something. Not sure what from though.
Here is the previous owners pick of the armoire. I tell ya I debated and debated over purchasing this set. I have NEVER purchased so many pieces at one time so it made me very nervous. She wanted quite a bit for it and after a few days I saw that it was still around so I threw a LOW ball offer at her that I felt comfortable with. Well to my surprise the next day she accepted it.
I had not seen it prior to renting the Uhaul so all the way there I was praying there was nothing wrong with it or it would have been a waste of a rental. Overall it is in solid shape. Not one thing wrong with it minus the fact that somebody attempted to refinish it with a VERY orange stain and that it was missing a few hing pins but those should not be hard to find. A very solid and did I mention HEAVY set!?;)
The boys and I had a blast driving around in the Uhaul though we all agreed it was super smelly. After we loaded up The Hubster kindly drove it back to the house.

Not sure what I was thinking when I decided I wanted this set but its mine now and once I finish the piece I am currently working on and get it out to the cottage I can then pick which one of these pieces I will start on next!

So what color would you paint them?

Hope your weekend is going well!:)

Oh, those are such beautiful pieces of furniture, and the armoire is amazing! I am kind of boring with furniture, everything around here seems to get painted either grey or white! :)

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far, and congratulations on scoring such great finds! :)

Blessings,
Jenni

You're going to have so much fun painting these pieces! Love the curvy lines. My first thought was gray. But white, pale blue...anything light and airy. But I'm confident that whatever you choose will be stunning!
