Painting Cheetah

Thought I meant Cheetah print uh!?;) Oldest had his 2nd grade play the other day and he was a Cheetah. He came home asking me to paint his face like a Cheetah. I have never painted a face before but I figured why not. I found the above picture as a reference.

We headed to Party City who thankfully had face painting kits. I had no idea they carried them all year long.

Oldest in his quicky Cheetah shirt. He came home from school the day of the play and told me he wanted spots on his shirt. A last minute request I could only accomplish with a tired Sharpie.

About 15 minutes later we had a Cheetah in the house!:) It was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.

My Cheetah with his ears on.

My Cheetah running from me because he didn't want to show me his tail! A mama has to be quick!;)
The play was wonderful and all the kids did such a fantastic job. The best part was that Oldest was just thrilled with his face which made a mama happy.

And because the title was a teaser and y'all were expecting something to do with decorating here is my find from HomeGoods this week! I am still working on its new home but I promise to share soon.

Don't forget Treasure Hunt Thursday is still going on strong! Head over and join the party.

  1. He's too cute, Pamela! One year for Halloween my daughter was a cat and my son {who was a baby at the time} was a lion so that was my first foray into face paint. : ) I need to figure out Bengal stripes for a project my hubby is doing and it will be painted up like the Bengal's football team.
