The Nutcracker Market

Every November The Houston Ballet puts on The Nutcracker Market. A divine shopping tradition that you must attend at least once if you live here. I have been three years in a row!
I loved it the past two but this year I was not feeling well so I was not able to enjoy it to the fullest extent. I thought that I would share some pics though that I managed to take with my phone. Mind you they may not be the best because you are not suppose to take pics! Shhhh!;)

This mirror was at one of my favorite booths Paul Michael! Every year they have these gorgeous mirrors and I hope to one day own one!
They also had these plate racks this year. I only took a pic because they reminded me of Kim over at Savvy Southern Style and her new plate rack!:)

I was soo tempted to get one of these iron rods and hanging baskets. They were on my to go back and get list but by that time you could not stir the crowd with a stick so I opted to leave it.

I could not resist getting a pic of these cuties!

I so wanted a better pic of this booth but every time I tried on of the sales people came by. The ivy ball was real!

This was one of my favorite booths this year. I almost bought that music paper wreath down in the corner but my friend and I decided it needed to be larger.

Maggie's is another booth I just adore. They actually have a store location here up in The Woodlands that I need to go and check out. A few years back I purchased a wrought iron chandy for our master bath from them.

And believe it or not after 5 hours of shopping these are the only things I walked away with! I know I really was not feeling well but as The Hubster says I am hard headed and just had to go!;)

Linking up to Wow Us Wednesdays!

  3. I would love one of those longer low plate racks to go in my breakfast room. I am going to have to get the man to build me one. I have the same welcome basket you got.

  4. I think you did pretty good for not feeling well, Pamela! Love that basket. Is the black and white a throw? It looks like they had some great things on display. Sometimes it's good just to get ideas and try to make your own.
