Projects

Not much to share really around here. I have just  been busy working on some projects.

The guest room headboard is getting closer to being stripped thankfully! Now let me warn y'all if you ever think you may want to stain a piece of furniture you have DO NOT ever paint it red!! The red has bled down into the wood and thus I will not be able to do the vinegar steel wool finish I was sooo wanting to do. Lesson learned though.

I am also pretty close to listing Lucille for sale! All that is left is a good waxing. I think I may consign her out at The Old Oak Cottage or maybe even rent one of the closet spaces.I need to see which would make the most sense since I have the stools and a few other small pieces and my boutique baby bibs that I do not feel like listing on Etsy.

And as if those two projects were not enough I also started painting the grand father clock!:)

So what have you been up to this week so far?
Hope all is well!

  1. Lucille is looking pretty darn good, Pamela! I have a feeling she will go quickly wherever you decide to show her off. I'm looking forward to seeing what you wind up doing with that headboard. I like the design to it.

  3. I'm quite envious that you're painting your grandfather clock. I still haven't gotten up the nerve to paint mine. I want to!!! But need to work up the nerve. (It was a gift from my parents.)
**pillow covers are on their way! :)

  5. Oh my goodness you are a busy girl! They look beautiful!! Stripping paint is not easy and yes red and black make it really difficult. Lucille so pretty and I can't wait to see the clock!! Have fun!!!
