Frenchy Side Table Part Deux

I purchased these matching side tables earlier in the year. I loved their shape and saw many possibilities.

In the spring I transformed the one into this antiqued gray blue beauty!

I truly loved how it turned out and was just tickled when a gentleman came and purchased it for his side table. I thought it was for his wife who was waiting out in the car but he said oh no it was his!:)

The sister table I have been working on for several months now because I easily get side tracked!:) I just finished it up. I decided to use a large stencil for this table and instead of just painting the stencil on I decided to outline it.

Then I hand painted the design on with antiquing medium. This method took quite a bit longer but I really like how it turned out. ( Please ignore the dusty areas. I realized after I took the pics that some of my chalk dust from another project got on the table top before it was fully dry. Right after its photo shoot it went back out in the garage for a light sanding and re poly!)

This table I did in a sage green. I am kinda partial to greens.
I love the heavy glaze look that I accomplished with just stain! It takes much longer to dry than a normal glaze but so worth it. I am hoping this table will go quickly as well!

Here is my next victim!:)

Thanx for stopping by and hope your weekend was a great one!

They don't even look like they have the same lines as the originals, you did an outstanding job. I am sure you will do a fabulous job with your next 'victim!' Now that looks like a nice piece, so I can only imagine how great you will make it. I will have to remember to come back to see.
